Lolwut? Waid is writing one of the most powerful Superman ever.

I thought in Kingdom Come Darkseid was dead, killed by Orion? That's why they wanted to use Apokolips as a prison planet....

It's isolated, hot and used as a prison. Sounds like Australia.

This story is prologue for Kingdom Come.
They(Prime versions and KC versions) both are younger.

👆 I also misremembered, KC SUpes only went to seek Orion's advice.

I wonder if that is how they defeat DS - they get Orion to step in.

But more likely Magog steps up.

If those are the Infinty Gems then the seventh is from the Ultraverse. It could also be the Seven Spheres from the War of the Seven Spheres.

And Dr. Strange seems to be a fan of the little creature featured in the blue orb, since he has a print of it on his shirt.

But this is more of a Mr Master or Galactic Storm question. I bet all of it are from obscure Dr. Strange stories published before we were born.

Oooh... I didn't see Dr. Strange's symbol! Nice catch.

It's a tarot card. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_of_Cups.

This is what it looks like in the deck:

Ewing is doing his spin on it. I see the infinity stones, with an extra one being the Ego stone.

If it's supposed to be a seventh Infinity Stone, maybe it's the Death Stone that was introduced into Thanos'/Hela's history. The Ultraverse crossover hassn't exactly been foreshadowed recently.

In which case, I'm going to guess that the snake wrapped around the wheel is Utgard-Loki manipulating Toranos' Wheel of Fate.

The tower led to the Overspace where Dominions live so maybe the thing at the top of the tower was a crown.

Have no idea what the green crystal or golden skull is supposed to be though.

This follows Morrison cosmology where there's only one set of new gods in the multiverse. This is mainstream Darkseid.

The preview for Darkseid seems interesting

This is Mungiforce Darkseid.

We'll all look pretty silly when Batman kicks him in the face then.

The green crystal is the thing that floats just above your character in The Sims.

Crossover event incoming.

Why?

Batman is Batman, he could fuck True Mungi himself in the ass if he wanted to - there are no limits to his power.

It’s true. No limits. None

LMAO

Yeah Darkseid is a beast but he shouldn’t be able to tank these shots like that. Looks like stupidity from marvel seeped into dc. Trying to portray high heralds vs top sky father.

Vader and Thrawn, on aroadtrip through the galaxy:

Hopefully they do well with this adaption. The novel was quite good.

I am curious to see how the comics depict the Grysk, though, because they've never actually been illustrated in any canon medium.
