Interesting.

With:

That Batman feat is still so laughably ridiculous. 😂 👆

And not that anyone else cares lol, but the Star Wars comic series has finally moved past the OT-era... Only took Marvel a literal decade to get there. 👆

It goes like this

2 GA= Base Superman >Wonder Woman>Flash

Superman would need to be sun dipped to fight more than 3 Green Arrows at a time.

Immune to telepathy...but not being slammed against the wall, I guess:

Also, this Hadad sounds intense.

Psychic vs a speedster:

This makes no ****ing sense.

Does the juggernaut need to breathe? And that read your actions only works if you can move fast enough yourself.

On top of that just because a person thinks about doing something doesn't mean they are going to perform to that very precise thought.

I can think I'm gonna hit a guy or target 5 times. Doesn't mean my punches and bullets are going to fly along the same path as my thoughts in my head do.

It's like Leo and me were saying a while back, at least some degree of enhanced mental speed/reflexes seem to be in play with Psychics. They may not be speedsters themselves, but somehow their brains work faster. Doesn't really make logical sense and it's definitely not always written to be the case, but it's a thing.

Yeah, it's comics, PIS happens.

Like somehow, a gorilla with no enhancements should speedblitz DC/Marvel, based on who he outreacts.

Black Canary Vs Shiva was a brutal fight.

It's not really PIS so much, it's a weird thing that's sometimes written to be true(again, not always). Super reflexes type stuff may not make sense, but it's just one more in a long list of powers/effects that ignore real world physics. They may not be able to sprint across a football field at 100mph, but they can somehow defend and engage with speedsters(though the speedsters almost always launch more attacks).

And it's s true in both companies, it's just a little more prominent in Marvel because DC prefers to give people genuine super speed.

Yeah. No idea about this Timebomb, no idea about her capabilities or even if she is a genuine speedster, just that throwaway line, really.

Put it this way - I wouldn't fancy her speed feats when stacked up against Psylocke, who has actual bullet feats too.

tbf I think Psylocke was always an asterisk in those conversations because she pretty uniquely melds two things that are situationally and inconsistently treated like "trap cards" for speed (those being TP, and comic book skill).

I get the general point that you and Leo were arguing for but I don't think you can use Psylocke as a case example for psychics generally.

I personally view it as a "Force-users' precognition" situation.

Does Force-users' precognition help them to some degrees to counter other characters' speed? Yes
But is Force-users' precognition the "automate win" in terms of against speed? Not ncessarily. Since there are other factors play in here. Like certain characters' speed, or skills etc

All in all, I think it comes down to individually examine each case
