Nope, you're just making up stuff. Lol... there have been a week debate on the Hulk vs Thing fight and you think Superman is the only character that is getting attention. Stop!!! Its not just him. Superman, Hulk, Silver Surfer and Thor fans will always battle. It is what it is. This been going on before KMC existence and it's not going to change. I know it probably adds a couple of hair follicles on your chest making you feel good that Supes is pointed out but it's not just him.
You are so much worse off then I thought. 😕

Hulk/his fans are the 4'6'' manlets that you see at the gym. They try, and try, and try, always thinking "I need to...just...get....stronger" but any of the others can just give him a wedgie any time they feel like it, there's not a thing he can do about it, he knows it deep down, but he'll never say it out loud. Thor/Surfer are the two guys who are miring their gains across the gym and, every once in a while, they have a periodic arm-wrestle contest where the long, blond haired guy puts the bald shiny naked guy in his place.

Superman is the guy who comes into the gym, dick-slaps the Hulklet so fast he goes straight to the shower crying, then goes to the bench-press that the long, blond, haired guy works on. As he doubles the weight of the latter, blondy says "the mightiest...in...this...gym...cannot....!!!" as Superman winks and says "in my gym, the dials go to eleven".

End result: Hulklet is ignored by everybody, Thor is angry but knows his inferiority, while shiny guy mumbles to himself "I saw....a weakness in his bar grip...". All 3 hate the S, blond haired and shiny naked guy have an in-gym rivalry, and there's the Hulklet, who hates them all.

As he leaves, Superman bro-fists his best-bud Thanos who says "told you they're bi tches", and they go have a beer.

The bad part is that this really isn't much of an exaggeration.

You mention "Superman" here, you better be ready to explain yourself to the brigade.

So, if you had to guess, what would you say is the reason Super has so many haters? Also, why do you think he triggers them so much? It's crazy, no other character has the same kind of hate brigade that gets triggered quite so much.

Success breeds contempt. Everybody hates the guy at the top of the pile.

I figured out what man's 6th sense is.
Look into my eyes. *HYPNOSIS*

Superman trying to beat God by copying Moses is like pulling your socks up to your ears in the gym and saying I'm tall.

People hate on Surfer? He's not even remotely as popular

UGH.

Looks like no more Tom Holland Spidey no more smh

I personally dislike him because everyone wanks him to high hell and every other thread is about superman

The second reason is I think he is a horrible mary sue character. Like goku.

You literally know how its gonna end up every time. Either batman or superman save the day and look better than everyone else. DC should cancel all of its comics but superman and batman.

Just my opinion, I find him super boring and the fact that he is so powerful and always wins makes the comics trash imo.

Besides that, you have to give him respect, comics would not be what they are today without him.

Also in relation to his haters.. it's typically misdirection. Say Poster A hates Poster B. Poster B just so happens to like Supes so by default Poster A will hate Supes...cue trolling, flame posts and bait threads
👆 also some posters with their love affair to a certain characters can put people off. I used to like thanos and the hulk before I got here to kmc. I still read thanos ( cosmic stories) in general though.

Darthgoob? He's still active? I honestly can't think of anyone who would even bother to wank Surfer. He's almost obscure at this point.

he is

I needed to sedate myself with wine, beer (lager and dark), three different kinds of meds...

I deserve to feel a little carver in myself, bro.

Feels good.

Ohhhh

Carol Danvers is going to become evil for some reason.

😂

I have wonderd why refering to the fact and feats about Superman is terrible wank for Superman.
Now, I know why.
Everything Superman has done should be outlier.
What a hypocrisy!

missed opportunity in not saying "the mightiest in 9 local gyms" or something similar.

The interesting thing I noticed was a few weeks ago when Gladiator got the best showing of his career against Galactus. Certain people came in here claiming that this one feat skyrocketed Gladiator into the 'abstract' tier... Yes, these people truly believed that ONE feat of this caliber in Gladiator's 40+ year character history was enough to bump him into the realm of abstract-level power. No questions asked.

Flip side, if you mention any one of the numerous feats Superman has that are of similar(or in many cases far greater) magnitude...feats he has been consistently preforming over the years, mind you...those same people will typically be the first to downplay/lowball/ignore them by any means necessary. In their eyes Superman is herald-level and will never be any thing more, regardless of the feats/accolades under his belt.

Point being: there is an almost sickening double standard when it comes to Superman, and I honestly don't understand why..?

It's one thing to not like the character(he's not everyone's cup of tea; I get it)... But it's an entirely different thing to not like the character SO deeply that you are willing to ignore absolutely everything about him that you don't agree with. Worse yet, these same people will also revert to randomly attacking Superman, even when Superman has absolutely nothing to do with the thread/discussion at hand... It's like some sort of strange defense mechanism. We saw that most recently when Ben KO'ing Hulk was being discussed.
