Doesn't mean he didn't Subconciously use it for other Purposes..🙄..You can take Viatmins in Jan for a Fight In Sep...You Took them For THAT moment..doesn't mean they didn't Help with OTHER situations..

Yes He has been pumping superman with 5D energy throughout the years to PROTECT him in the 6th dimension, I don't disagree with that. But what I'm saying is it doesn't mean at some random point those 5D energy inside superman didnt make him do something beyond his tier class.

We can agree to disagree, and leave it at. I'm not going over something so simple

This was my very first post today on the topic:

Lmao. Proof that it amped him for his feats and not just so he could enter the 6thDimension?

Edit: lol at the herald level though

So no proof WHATSOEVER that it amped him in OTHER situations? I asked this twice already. Now three times, lol.

OTHER. TIMES. PROOF?

Whatever happened to Miss Sinister?

Alive and well, I think?

Last time I've seen her in the Old Man Logan arc, before he travelled back to the wastelands.

The comic tells us that the energy was just intended to be used in "this moment". Singular, not plural.

So if you think the 5th dimensional energy was boosting Superman's stats during all of his fights over the decades, then the burden of proof falls on you to prove it.

We all know you can't prove it, though, so why don't you just stop acting like an idiot troll and stfu?

I said we can agree to disagree, I'm not escalating this.

everybody has their own interpretation, believe what you want.

and lordgod FORMULATE your own thoughts instead of piggybacking saint and Galan's arguments. Be YOURSELF... I get that your new here but don't agree with the popular opinion so you can gain validation, START thinking for yourself

I am thinking for myself.

That's how the burden of proof works......😕

Also, why was the Strange Visitor vs. Void thread locked? Seems like it could have been a decent discussion, no?

Good, lets bury this debate here. 👆

It was only a decent discussion for those who are completely unaware of SV's power.

As I said in the thread itself, it was spite. Hence closed.

Also Galan I just want to ask you an question.
Want your full input on this

Do YOU think "feats" really determines who wins between Hulk and Superman? or depending on the writer?

I ask because recently Zoom one-shotted Superman and the entire JL, and i don't suppose we would put Zoom on the same level of Hulk in terms of striking if going all out

This is why I mainly go with DEPENDING whos writing the story, it is a big possibility. I don't hate that people think Supes would win, he could, but it's the fact they think its "spite"

we've seen what a Hulk replica (damage) did

On panel feats are the primary measuring stick we go by in battleboard scenarios... Especially when discussing characters from different companies.

Now if a fight between two characters happens in a comic, then yes, it is entirely writer-dependent. Hence why Ben KO'd Hulk under Slott.

I personally dislike him because everyone wanks him to high hell and every other thread is about superman

The second reason is I think he is a horrible mary sue character. Like goku.

You literally know how its gonna end up every time. Either batman or superman save the day and look better than everyone else. DC should cancel all of its comics but superman and batman.

Just my opinion, I find him super boring and the fact that he is so powerful and always wins makes the comics trash imo.

Besides that, you have to give him respect, comics would not be what they are today without him.

I honestly think you're wrong, or at the very least outdated. But it's your opinion, etc etc.

@Galan. 👆

In a comic, ANYTHING can happen. Jane Foster can succeed where Odin fails, for example.

In a forum fight, then we use a combo of feats and fights. Can't ignore fights, but neither can we ignore feats. And my personal take on it is that it depends on how much exposure a character gets.

The more exposure, and the more that character begins to interact with the wider community, the more feats begin to matter - more so than fights. Because a new character will start to 'job' to established characters.

As a good example of this, look at Damage. When he first arrived on the scene, one could make a good case that he was high herald/trans. Then as he started to interact with the wider community, Batman, Poison Ivy and Congorilla happened.

Look at Grail. In her first appearance, she was oneshotting Shazam, breaking GLs, outspeeding and outfighting WW. Now? She's casually beaten by WW (who, it should be noted, no longer has the GoW amp she had when Grail won against her).

Look at Immortal Hulk. Flexing Jane Thor and Herc off him. Now? Grimm and Bushwhacker are taking their shots against him.

Zoom was speedblitzing Flashes. Let that sink in. Now? A blind WW tagged him, Liberty Belle, Superman etc are all fighting him.

I can go on, but we get the picture.

Random question, but I'm curious what you guys think [didn't want to make a whole thread just to ask this question].

What is the single best individual comic book you have ever read in DC, Marvel and Indie? TPBs and collected works don't count.

Star Wars series ending at #75

https://www.cbr.com/marvel-star-wars-ending-november/

Sure it will get rebooted but still odd

Hard to say.

All-Star Superman #10, and Fantastic Four #605 really stand out as some of my favorite single issues from the big two.

Wow, that is really strange considering Pak just took over the series at issue 68.

Probably for the best, though. The quality isn't what it used to be.

You know how Marvel and DC roll.

They'd rather reboot a series a dozen of times before letting it reach issue 100... simply because issue 1 sells so much better.

Bad examples Dark.

Cool.

Feel free to name 'good' examples; the point still remains.

What examples would you have?

Meanwhile, at DC HQ:

"What issue are we up to on our flagship title?"

"Issue 2."

"According to our data, sales always dip after the first issue."

"New policy: Every issue for the next quarter, is issue #1."
