Then move to Russia... you can buy and own a puma there.

Cats are also tougher than dogs, can survive without people.

This cat was found 'frozen and unresponsive' in snow. An animal hospital saved her life

Ironic, no?
That cat needed humans to be saved...

It was a miracle it even survived. But they are more resilient than dogs. Natural hunters, so you don't need to even feed it. Just let it outside and do it's thing.

Ironically a big cat would honestly be a safer pet than a chimp imo. Dumber animals have relatively predictable behaviors if introduced to the right stimulus. Chimps are much smarter, and have a wider and more unpredictable range of emotions I think.

Given how many pet owners we have here, I'm going to pass on making a joke about how various animals taste.

Have you eaten dog or cat? I'm not against such a thing, but I am against animal abuse. Just don't torture the animal before you eat it.

Truthfully, no, I haven't eaten dog or cat. I might have had horse, but only because there was a big Tesco scandal a while back where they were reportedly putting horse-meat in to their burgers and not telling anyone.

Wasn't a male, just 2 women (owner and her friend, iirc).

But Travis was drugged on xanax or something?

Yeah, I saw that. So, what triggered the chimp?

Just started attacking her all of a sudden, iirc.

Maybe he got old (he was 13 years old) and couldn't tolerate guests anymore.

Or maybe that xanax-laced tea had some severe side-effects on him.
