****ing Mungi started it.

But yeah, I don't think I'll ever get another new dog again. I hate cats though, so maybe a cat for a family pet or something. You could cycle through a lot of those for a family imo

I got another German Shep just before my first one died.

When this one dies it will be equally as traumatic for me.

Further proof that nothing good ever comes from Alpha Flight.

By cycle through you mean eat.
I'd rather kill and prepare 10 cats than unknowingly eat a dog.

But, if I ever had to get a new animal for a kid or something, I'd def get a cat. Kittens are pretty funny I guess. Adult cats are fukking retards though. You grow to hate them I believe.

'Cat people' are a breed all to themselves.

Personally, I will never own a cat. Can't stand them. Feel like I'd just end up doing mean shit to it for fun.

Cats are like bitchy women, but without the sex [unless you're a Spiderman fan]

No reason to have them in your house, since there's a far superior version [dogs].

Sorry for your losses everybody. I'll want one when I move from apartment to house, but I'm reluctant just thinking about how awful it'll be when I outlive it.

I'd get a cat if I had a mice problem I think. Other than that, it'd need to be for someone else.

Speaking of mean things, when I was a wee lad my brother in law used to spin his cats really fast on the kitchen floor. It was something to behold and it stuck in my mind everytime I think of someone being mean to cats.
Kind of curious if that's a widespread enough thing to be on Youtube...

I did that to a friend's cat. She had claws and kept scratching me, as I kept spinning, pushing, turning etc. just to piss her off.

Most satisfying pain ever.

Am I the first poster to edit my previous post to reply to a future post? We should only talk like this, in an editing loop.

Edit, holy shit
YouTube video

See, that almost makes me want a cat just so I can do things like that to it, constantly.

When I had my 16-17 year old cat, I didn't have to be mean to it because my dog would annihilate it the second she heard it do anything retarded or I got mad.
When I took it with me all it did was destroy things. Catching that cat on the counter and then blocking it from leaving the kitchen was a good bonding moment for the dog and cat.

That's the cat that turned me from a cat kid. ****ing thing started shitting on the floor too, so he went. I would have gladly had my dog live that long and only had that issue...

That cat also once beat me up when I was teasing it with a giant candy cane when I was like 12-ish... looking back I don't even know why I took him with me. Glad he's dead

As a kid, I loved my cousins kitten.

Just like this:

YouTube video

It was so cute, trying to scratch out my eyes with its declawed paws.

I have a cat. Got suckered into adopting it. It's a Maine Coon. The thing is huge. It weighs at least 20 pounds and is fit. It's body is almost 2 feet long, not counting the tail.

He follows me around like a dog and listens to a few commands like lay down and eat. The thing eats like a horse. Costs me about $120 per month to feed. Friendliest cat I've ever seen.

The thing could probably hunt it's food for free. Seen a few regular house cats that come and go as they please, because they're so self sufficient hunting the fields.

Tell us how much your carver costs.

Man, I miss Mungi's dog, he had the best cosplays in this forum.

I only have a cat (and I obviously prefer dogs, like any normal person) but I brainwashed him into being the most dog like he can be. So it comes out a bit as if he was an emotionally deprived pet or something, but he still likes me (the idiot).

Here, here! Now that we can agree on! You know if somebody says they prefer cats you start looking at them all squinty eyed.

I prefer dogs, too. Of course.

The good thing about cats, is they're nice if a bee's around. Swats those suckers away.

It's a big cat and I feed him good food, not that cheap crap.

Just because of the influential conversation being had in here, I'm going to buy me a dog when I get off work. What kind of dog is more Hulk-like?
