What's so bad about that woman-in-charge story you mentioned earlier?

I mean, I hate the whole SJW thing, but unless I'm missing something (pretty sure I do), it's not that bad of an idea to have a schemer acting more reasonably than Palps - in order to control, maintain and expand the Empire's reach...

Palps' PR leaves much to be desired, after all.

Because even in current canon, Palpatine...and Palpatine alone...has been painted as THE mastermind responsible for the Empire's rise to power, and also the being who was solely responsible for keeping it together. He had a vision, and he saw it through to completion. An absolutely brilliant and ruthless leader.

But in that issue he was treated as some second rate hack, whose villainy was interfering with the 'real' plans that were laid out by some random female character... Just a stupid and senseless change, imo.

When the **** is Thanos: Infinity Ending released? It's been over a week now.

Starlin needs to get high enough to come up with an ending.

nahh not that one, it was a comparison thread between the two i think. like darkseid resurrecting characters and odin failing to do so...

Not sure why it hasn't been ripped by the scan groups yet..? Granted it's like 100pgs, but it usually never takes this long for a book to become pirateable.

Now I'm glad I bought it on comixology earlier, lol. Shitty part is not being able to see everyones reactions, though... ermm

There's really no ongoing series that I would recommend right now. Unfortunately, the SW line has taken a pretty sharp decline in quality in the last year or so. The last 'good' series was Soule's Darth Vader v2 -- I'd definitely recommend that one, as it does a lot for the mythos(in very good ways.)

On that note, Soule is about to relaunch the main Star Wars series -- it will be set between ESB and RotJ. I expect great things from that.

Soule is also writing a Kylo Ren mini that will detail Ben Solo's time as a Jedi student under Luke, his turn to the dark side/transformation into Kylo Ren under Snoke, the Knights of Ren, etc... Which also sounds promising.

Well, that sucks.

When the control of Lord Order and Lord Chaos is lost both matter and anti-matter will reduce so that new power can emerge.
The radial could reivent the wheel that way. Still I wonder if Hyperion is strong enough to survive anti-matter.

Anti-Life is a metaphor for honey roasted peanuts.

New life. All you have to do is believe.

If it were Thrawn instead of her... you'd love every panel of it 😛

Funny as that is, I don't think Thrawn wouldn't have seen Vader's betrayal as a distinct possibility and attempted to preemptively deal with it.

Well yeah.

Thrawn is not only awesome, but he's the best tactical mind in SW continuity... Leaps and bounds above the likes of Tarkin and even Vader. 😊

If we have only filled 3 percent of the Universe that leaves 7% mind growth for humans.

I know people are saying that Doomsday Clock will make -all- showings in DC history canon (at least for Superman) by basically making it so the previous Crisis stories didn't alter continuity.

But didn't that already happen in Convergence when the heroes undid CoIE?-

😕

Hulk Can survive just as a head, even for decades, as we can see in that Dr. Strange best Defense tie-in. No lungs, no air

😕

The Convergence thing either isn't canon anymore, or it was completely forgotten.

Because as of Doomsday Clock itself, the other Crisis-events still happened, and were responsible for altering Superman's timeline:
