Looks like he amped the strength of his throw/sensed a "weak point" which caused that avalanche.
Probably a combo of both.
Elaine Belloc being mentioned in 31st Century, More evidence Vertigo Lucifer series are canon to DC
Zod be Ra’s will be just like Superman vs Batman all over again. Let’s be honest here, in what universe can Ra’s survive a second against Zod with pis/cis?
It will end up being a boring fight with Ra’s somehow not only surviving the encounter, but he’ll come out looking good, while Zod comes out looking like a child being disciplined by his dad.
So historically, where did the Lords of Order rank in the pecking order.
Because in Invasion, they ordered Spectre around like they owned him. I don't remember ANYONE but "god", a.k.a. The Presence, doing that to him in the pre crisis era. And Alan Moore, and John Ostrander made it pretty clear he only had one boss, and it wasn't the Lords of Order.
Hell, a noob Inza outright defeated Lords of Order and Chaos in droves, like they were Storm Troopers, can't see any Doctor Fate doing that to Jim Corrigan.
That story almost feels like an outlier, as I can't remember them bossing him around before or since.
Originally posted by cdtmSpectre is also subservient to the Quintessence, despite being more powerful than all of them. /shrug

Is he an ally? Or does he take their orders, even if he disagrees with them?
I mean, he's worked with the JSA, too, but they sure didn't make him do anything he strongly objected against, like staying out of an invasion of Earth to maintain some bullshit balance between chaos and order.
They also called him an "Agent of Order", which he really isn't. He's an agent of vengeance, punishing killers, on a mandate from heaven. Pretty sure even in the pre crisis era it was like this.

Originally posted by Insane TitanI was wondering what you meant there, lol. But yeah, kind of like that. 👆
edit because auto correct
Spectre is more powerful than every member of the Quintessence, but he still defers to their 'superior authority' in certain matters. It's really strange... Especially given that Spectre literally embodies an aspect of the fugging Presence itself.
