Superman is at the FOS actively fighting multiple powerful opponents. TBWL is locked up in the most secure prison in the multiverse back at JL HQ.

But Superman can still hear him speaking. That's awesome.

And yeah, all of the infected are amped significantly.

I would note that Vader was force-shielding himself from the attacking Kakrans at the time, but the EMP still looked to have had *some* sort of effect on him.
