Marvel has problems with their entire continuity, not just the x-corner of it, I'm afraid 🙁

Bringing back dead characters, appearing in the old costumes - Marvel does it all the damn time.

Perhaps DC is more tidy about, however I really doubt it.

Some of DC is, some isn't. It depends. Hopefully the end of Doomsday Clock puts everything on an even keel.

At least Sentry's merged appearance was acknowledged in Fantastic Four Scourge. But that's weird as well.

Meh, it's nothing... he was back to his classic look in only 2 titles, one of which can be explained by the Negative Zone's effect on him...

It's not a big deal. Never was.

Let's talk about how they bring back dead villains with no explanation... only to have them killed again... aaand resurrected again... 😂

Sure, sure.

Just like Secret Hickman Wars did, am I right? 😉

The real point behind Doomsday Clock is to have Manhattan giving Supes a rimjob, so battleboards can get crazy over it. You know it, I know, everyone knows it 😛

Sounds like the editor dropped the ball on the first issue, and someone had to tell them and the writer to sort shit out.

But how do you make such a blatant mistake? Editor had one job, and said editor dropped the ball.

Welcome to comics, Squall.

Hey, that's just the icing on the cake.

Seriously though, I sat down a while back to write some bios for rps, particularly those of Cyclops and Superman. And, while the Superman bio was longer because there was just so much more reference material to reconcile, it fit together a LOT more easily than the Cyclops stuff did. And that was even without counting that awful "they all went to the same high school" miniseries shite.

DC has had some notoriously bad editors. Either in terms of not overseeing books properly, or because they were too busy trying to shag the other writers' wives.

I know all that, but goddamn! In most other jobs, you would get fired for the same mistakes over and over again.

What issue did he die, I only read up to #25 so far.

Better Wolverine than someone like Iceman, I suppose.

👆

And WF mentions that Perpetua will not allow him to reform in the 6th dimension, so his death could very well be permanent... As long as she remains in control, that is.

This also implies that Perpetua could immediately resurrect AM in the 6th dimension if she chooses to(assuming he was also killed here.)

Well that sucks, I liked him so far.

forger was a great character, and also far more powerful then any being in marvel. thats for sure. 👆

At least they aren't social activists.

Banning Constantine from smoking would ruin the character. 😱

DC does have them, they just tend to keep them away from their biggest books. For the most part at least.
