He obviously did do "shit" though. He may have destroyed all the *present* at that time, as he said. He may even have destroyed *a bit* of the future as well. But he CLEARLY did not destroy *all* the DC future, as evidenced by non-blank pages in later comics.

This is what's going over your head, no matter how much Galan tries to explain, or Darksaint tries to analogize.
If I snap my finger and erase your timeline from now to your death, then I snap my finger and bring it all back and have it resume where it left off, just because you now live a full life, it doesn't change the fact that I erased it in the first place.
