Lucifer implied to be GEB was shown multiple times in V3, for starter we see vishnu showing Lucifer all his avatars he used since beginning of creations throughout time. This scan basically explained the Lucifer we see in new52. And the big hand in the back, imply heavily of the GEB we see in the Swamp Thing.

It's not the only time we see the dark hand in lucifer v3, we see GEB's hand again here, I love how Lucifer v3 expanded a lot on DC's pantheons of Gods, and unexplored realms in Sphere of Gods, like Underworld.

now does that mean GEB is Lucifer himself? Maybe, Maybe not, but just like Lucifer, GEB is an aspect of Presence.
all Lucifer's appearances are canon to him, Lucifer V3 happened after his sandman appearance where he gave up his wings, and before V1 and V2. the Writer extra confirmed V1 and V2 happened too on social media.
as for Presence and GEB battle in Swamp Thing, Their battle is metaphor for good and evil, yin and yang coexisting. And no Presence did not merge with GEB, Phantom Stranger said the conflict has been altered. But the conflict between light and darkness, good and evil will never resolve.
And No, I do not believe a word come out of Spectre's mouth when he later said he could've stop GEB by himself, he got his ass torned in half when he fought GEB.

And **** Neil Gaiman's original introduction of Lucifer where he refers to the Great Darkness as a separate entity and the catalyst of the events that lead up to the current state of affairs.
Is it too much to expect a new writer to at the very least have read up on the first appearances of the characters he's writing about?
like I said it's just heavily implied, doesn't nessessary mean Lucifer and GEB is the same being
the avatar of vishnu said "All those Lucifers you have been or could be", it's not so set in stone
For now I'd like to think Lucifer and GEB have heavy connection but are still two entities, I'll like to judge the whole thing after the series is over.

I honestly see Sendou losing. But Sendou being Sendou doesn’t lose confidence in himself, he still has the drive to continue on, and that set Ippo’s own drive ablaze.

I like that idea better then Sendou winning.
Sendou would still be Sendou, because he never depended on winning all the time, and his anti-fans would shut up about him being a Mary Sue.

Sendou has never been a Mary Sue. The only Mary Sue to me is none other than Takamura. The man doesn’t know the meaning of the word lose. He killed and eat a damn bear for god sakes.

Poor Takamura wanted mamma bear to live for the cubs sake, and cried while eating her so her sacrifice wouldn't be for nothing. 🙂
And I'll add Sendou probably loses on points, just like he should have to Vorg. KO isn't likely, he's never been put down in his career except by Ippo's insanely OP Dempsey. And he actually got up and went home, where Sawamura was in the hospital missing parts of his skull.

True it was the old man that shit him, but the dude still fought evenly with a brown bear I believe.
Haven’t read Ippo since Sendou came back from Mexico, I’ll probably wait till the fights ends so i can just binge the whole thing.

My new favorite is the Reaper. He was made unlikeable in his first appearance and cheating tactics. Then you found out his Kimi’s big brother, then you hate him a little less, now that his a legit fighter that doesn’t use cheating tactics anymore, the man grew on me.
Mashiba's awesome. Acts like a thug, but he really just keeps on keeping on, and is overprotective of his sister. Not like Saramura who actually beat up and tortured randoms.
My all time favorite is Date though. His back story, match with Ippo, and even how he handled his crushed dreams, all make him easily likeable.
That and his drunken attitude towards an angry Takamura.
