If Batman built his fortune by investing a penny two thousand years ago into the past, his toys would make sense. It's a shame the awesome Necrosword had to be tied to such a lame concept.
Reading the Wiki, it says Alpha Flight members were the ones that actually built the Empire up, while T'challa is the one who sent them.
So isn't T'challa basically just taking credit for their work? If I was them, I'd totally make the empire in my image.

You know the Toby movies were totally based off Ultimate Spider-Man, 616 Peter was never bullied like Ultimate Puny Parker, and was actually pretty popular with the ladies.
Peter was only bullied in the tame way they used to show it in the 60's, the whole kicking sand in nerds faces at the beach type stuff. But as soon as Peter got powers he very quickly started getting enough confidence to start throwing attitude back at flash...helped that he knocked flash tf out in a boxing ring too lol
