if we look back to convergence, the effect of COIE was already altered,(even before doomsday clock) post crisis wasn't the result of remaning 5 earths merge into one. the pre-crisis multiverse destruction was undone and the worlds was unexplored but still there

It could be any number of things, sadly, so I doubt we're likely to find out. Maybe Didio's replacement doesn't like Doomsday Clock, and wanted a different merging of canon. Maybe the cancellation of the rumoured "5G" threw everything out and they had to scramble to replace it with something. Maybe Snyder leveraged what "influence" he has, and got this gig.

Well no, he's not literally Jesus... but he's the next best thing. There's a bit of the archangel Michael in there too thematically, but he's still his own separate being.

You're asking the kind of question that would get ten different answers from ten different writers. In the past, DC's god has been at least suggested to be an amalgamation of the Judeo-Christian kind of god, but never to the point that you had to accept that god as "your" god either.
There's that panel where Mister Terrific, even in seeing that there is a presence, doesn't have his atheist beliefs lessened in any way.
