Is Nekron goal to kill all lives in the universe? Or is it to turn the universe back to atom( Destroying the entire universe, Not just all living things)
I'd this idea when I was re-reading the Tales of the Green Lantern Corps.
During his first appearance, It stated that Nekron is shrinking the whole universe, Turning it back into the primal atom it was created from

Also in the Tales From the Dark Multiverse, an alternative universe where Nekron won the Blackest Night
It stating that The Black Lantern Corps not just consuming the emotional energies and killing those still alive. They also consuming inanimate objects.

So From my understanding.
Nekron wants the universe back to the primal Darkness.
He isn't just going to kill all lives in the universe. He is going to destroy the entire universe.
He is more like an embodiment of entropy than an embodiment of death imo
Nekron views life(ie. the universe itself) as a sort of imperfection. His intent was to eradicate all life(again, the universe itself) so that he could return it back to the original void/blank slate that existed before the big bang.

Did I read it wrong, or did a continent level attack harm Black Winter?

A blast that could shatter continents gave the Black Winter pause for 14 seconds.

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that a continent buster would have any effect at all on a universe level++ entity?

Or that a continent buster was apparently beyond Galactus's ability to generate?

Not trying to lowball the feat, but.... 😕

If the continent thing is true for Black Winter, that’s pretty dumb since he literally just came out.

So people can see and make their own judgements:

Thor #4

It's just a way to add heft or color to a story. The lone blast could shatter continent(s) so not really just a continent buster. Sounds pretty powerful... Put continents in front of that single blast, it would most likely mess em up real good or bust em up completely. Plus Thor's lightning can be very arcane in nature. Now it actually draws from another power source(pc). It halting the bw doesnt sound odd at all.
Shooting that blast w/o that description would still be impressive, but definitely less cool from a storytelling standpoint.
As far as Galactus is concerned, we now know that this thing possibly made him... Galactus is going to be beholden to him no matter how powerful G is.
Plus this is a Thor book... G is gonna get outshined for the most part.

are you guys ready for alberto coming back tomorrow to terrorize this dying forum?

Definitely

Also, the Overvoid is above the Presence correct?

there's theory they are aspects of the same God

It seems the Presence is the one who responsible for filling the overvoid with infinite multiverses imo
So the Overvoid is like a canvas and the Presence is like the brush that painting the canvas

I treat The Source, Presence,Overvoid as same being.
And, They are probably metafictional everything related to DC.
In other words, They are us.

was darkseid true form revived by empty hand?

He was revived by empty hand. But isn't at his full power/true form.

This.

The Presence created the "flaws"(ie. DC creation as we know it) within the infinite canvas of the Overvoid. When the Overvoid discovered said flaws, it immediately began to examine/make sense of them by creating a "Probe"(Dax Novu) to enter the multiverse and study it... But even the Probe was corrupted by the story/narrative it encountered within the multiverse, so it withdrew.

Who knows what Snyder will do with the Overvoid, but under Morrison at least, the Overvoid and The Presence were definitely separate entities.
