Aside from the fact that I don't really know how that would even work, I also don't see why in the f*ck they need to address the ST in a book set during the OT..? srsly

Maybe we'll get to see Palpatine's son or something like that.

His cloned son *should* have been born after RotJ, so I hope not.

My first thought is that we'll glimpse Snoke, because he was supposed to have been around during the Empire's rise, but I don't know.
