Almost seems like the "touch" of Manhattan's power that Wally has is the key for BatManhattan to begin overtaking the mainstream multiverse/omniverse.

Manhattan is supposed to be equal to Perpetua, mentioned in Death Metal 1

Bathattan said so himself he is still too weak to fight Perpetua, he needs Wally's power (I assume he needs Manhattan's power in Wally)
