are they still gonna publish comics digitally?
Likely not, but they should. A "Netflix of Comics" will save them from ending up like Blockbuster, I would think.
Though they need to drum up interest too. Even Bendis, as shit as he is, used to be able to defend himself with good sales. Not anymore.

if indie comic companies can survive, i don't see why dc cannotthe day marvel buy off dc is the day i will quit reading comics
What I *think* will happen is that:
-We'll still get comics like Batman, Superman etc. But say goodbye to the smaller stuff.
-Lots of trades. They might flood the market.
-As much digital as we're currently getting (maybe a bit more).
Obviously it's all rumours at this point, but they're saying that the editorial staff got ****ing savaged. Even people like Harras are gone. Lots of "restructuring" going on, and anyone that got sacked, if their book was considered salvageable, has had the title passed to someone else.
Merchandise is likely to take a ****ing massive hit too, as they still hadn't fixed the Diamond Issue. Any first-party merch could be really hard to find in future.

Comic sales r way down in general. Across the board that is.
It is, but DC is doing severely worse than Marvel. People joke, but it's been a while since the gap has been this large.

Because Disney knows what they are doing
With movies maybe, but I don't think I'd trust them with anything else.
I wouldn't even trust them to keep Marvel and DC separate.

comic book really is a dying industrynot to mention comic con being cancelled
I think most money made by comic book movies go straight to the parent companies aka warner or disney, not directly into marvel or dc so...
Oh it does. Big time.
