It is strange that they're all pre-Flashpoint versions.
I predict by the end it's a prank by the Joker, and he just created the separate versions out of random people to make Batman and the others think they've fought different persons.

Maybe it won't be so blatant, but only one Joker will be left alive, and you'll see elements of all of the version in him.

It would be nice to get clear-cut, definitive answers by the time this has wrapped up.

But I'll be surprised if things end cohesively, given the theme of the story.

Galactus can't catch a break. He is dead twice in one month. At this rate he has died more than Jean Grey.

😂

It'll prob end like the Killing Joke,or at least, their attempt at Moore. With a shitty ending that's nebulous so as to create 'drama'.

Northern

If Snowbird can make the northern animals dominant we’d win.

Nah, I think this mini is disconnected from that. Set back in the 'classic' days.

Mark Waid and Neal Adams stated that in this story Galactus will transform into someone else that we're already very familiar with:

...Whatever that means.

Reed will get Galactus power.

not only that. But why have the killing joker and Silver age joker. They are basically from the same age they are so close together. Both the jokers are like a year apart.

they talk about "antithesis" like it will be an actual character, so that makes it sound like galactus might transform into his opposite.

so that begs the question; what or who is the antithesis of galactus?

It's negative zone version of Galactus

😂 that would be such a copout,.

Surfer looks kind of Blacked there, but the F4 costumes look old... gay. Midway point between when he was a glistening white man to when he went to Africa. It would be weird for them to have another dead Galactus story without following up on Cates' stuff. I mean it's the perfect chance.

Maybe Abraxas?

If they kill him twice in one year though it just destroys any stakes if they do follow up with his cosmic importance. I know Cates doesn't care but I assume someone does, and Waid isn't exactly a spring chicken, though he did do some Galactus draining...

Probably just bring him back at the end and they'll do a tie in to Cates' stuff like a year later where Galactus gets revived in a page and no further importance put on it.

Hate Marvel.

I *think* it's supposed to take place retroactively, before Donald's series.

The opening page says: "a new story from a classic era..."

Poor Galactus.

Writers are so excited to make him job, they even go to the past and job him there.

Last 3 pages... Lol.

I love how he keeps his costumes there while dangling his dick mid-air for everybody to see.
