Shazam looks more powerful than Post Crisis Superman there, Adam is definitely more powerful than post Crisis Black Adam. The magic is definitely more powerful in Rebirth than it was in post Crisis continuity.
😂 😂 Odin or Thor would beat the living shit out of Prime based on what just happpened, not that dudes hadn't always told people that. Glad the writer sees the light
In all fairness to Prime, the last time we saw him in the series he was powerless:

And this issue/battle takes place at night(ie. in the absence of any sunlight):

Entirely possible he's not at full power.

Either way, I think the thing here is not necessarily his 'power' [he was clearly above both Billy/BA], but the magic invulnerability -- which was turned into magic resistance. It's -- eh. I mean, considering what he no sold before, Black Adam and Billy's combined magic attack is.....very out there in terms of power.
Given both the physical and magical forces that Prime has shredded through in the past, this is still a very high-end showing for Shazam/BA all around(despite the fact that Prime was likely not at full power.) Pretty clear that Rebirth-era characters are a good bit more powerful than their pre-Flashpoint counterparts on average.
...Even though some will only try to use the feat to lowball Prime, context be damned.

I mean -- at this point it should be obvious for everybody that the current characters, in general, are far above the "post-Crisis" versions [i.e. up until Flashpoint], and I'm not talking just about the obvious one [Supes -- who is essentially somewhere quite close to Pre-Crisis].
Shazam/BA now being sorcerers on top of their physical attributes in itself is quite crazy.

I don't know why people are disappointed. If y'all REALLY read comics and pay attention you'd know that they hype characters all the time and usually put plot devices in to explain why that character was that powerful. In the case of superboy, his best showings came from 2 different sun harnesses and that temporary guardian amp. Without out them kid flash and kon el superboy were handling him solidly.
They didn't nerf him, they just used him as is at base.

Says the guy who was completely unaware of the context behind the Cap/Rhino fight and couldn't fight the issue even after being given the book name and #? vin
Googling scans, stealing posts and impersonating others don't make you a comic book reader, Alberto.
