The absence of evidence is what happened. The writer isn't trying to necessarily say anything beyond the sentence.
Except the writer actually wrote " Shazam is faster than Prime remembered", What point to have Prime say that sentence if the writer wasn't trying to say the similar things?

y'all act like alberto is just gonna be like- "you guys are right. i hadn't thought about it that way. thank you for pointing those facts out to me." 😂

discussing anything with a troll like alberto is a complete waste of time and brain cells. why do you guys bother?

Literally telling the reader how it was able to pierce right through.
"Hurled by the mightiest arms in Asgard, the gleaming blade hits its mammoth target, piercing the Celestial's chest with such force it passes completely through."

One would have to completely ignore this very explicit scene to come to another conclusion. When you marry this page with the next, common sense should tell you that Arishem did nothing in particular, did nothing extra, did nothing in specific to prevent the sword from piercing him. Why, because he most likely knew it would be inconsequential. The Celestials in this arc were treated beyond skyfathers. Taking just one piece and completely glossing over other relevant facts is nitpicking.

Y'd u guys close that thread? It was overall pretty civil by leaps and bounds compared to many others here.

Batman...with no defined HF...ends up shrugging off the effects of the new Joker toxin.

Wtf? 😕

I think this is the most absurd feat I've seen, lol. Characters with ridiculous level of invulnerability, healing factor, GL rings etc. have succumbed to weaker versions. It's like Alfred suddenly tanking planet busters or something.

The interesting thing is that, like you guys said, this is an upgraded version of the toxin -- it's essentially Joker toxin + Scarecrow's fear toxin + Bane's Venom(to force the subject to experience withdrawals)... And Bruce was exposed to it 3 issues ago, and has pushed through its effects nonetheless.

Granted, Harley gave Bruce a cup of hallucinogenic tea at the end of the last issue that was meant to purge the toxin from his system, but even with that, Punchline still believed it would take dayS for him to recover... Not a few minutes, lol.

guys, when is the next death metal issue coming out?

With zero explanation apart from he's Batman.

Then fixes his fried circuitry by..... plugging another gizmo into it, lol.

Based on absolutely nothing, It's the same shazam and adam from post crisis. And that just means Prime isn't that durable without the sun harness like i said earlier.

😂

Next issue of the main series doesn't come out until October 13.

But there will be a few tie-ins before then.

Uh oh could Grant Morrison be done with DC?

I seriously doubt it

Maybe he’s seeing the dumb shits DC is doing to the characters, and he’s like **** this shit, I’m out.

#Bat-tery

someone really needs to do a comprehensive post flashpoint batman respect thread.

the guy does insane shit literally every week,

Man. Why was that Thor/Aquaman thread closed? 🙁

If it is said that Prime was weakened. Shazam's statement will not make so much sense.

You don't really need a HF if the antidote is given to you.

Something that they were sure it would take like months to do, lol.

True,I got over excited and said months instead of days....

But even with the tea, it was still going to take a while. As was evidenced by Punchlines disbelief.

Batman's healing factor works at superspeed confirmed.

I'm quite certain Punchline was reffering to the effect in general to clear out, the comic doesn't really give away if Punchline saw Harlay giving Batman the antidote. Neither does she mention it when she tells how long the toxin will take to clear.

I have no problem with Bats having great resistances in general but let's not totally blow shit out of proprtion.

EDIT: Abhi'S Shazam + BA = Prime are enough for today 😂
