Superman was infected, his cells etc are CHANGING him into Darkseid.
And due to that which Its mentioned about AL when Superman senses Barbatos He outright says they are akin to one another thus Darkseid = Barbatos. Not that hard to understand that concept

Unless "akin" means different to you, it stands.

Rainbow corps suck

Johns best works were on teen titans and flash, he really ****ed up the lantern mythos

Any stories with Kyle and Guy will always be better, I love white lantern Kyle stories too bad that didn't last

Sinestro, Kyle, Guy are all better to write than that Mary Sue

Even if I agreed with all of that (and I don't), none of it makes Hal a mary sue.

I do agree that doomsday clock was a big lead up to just a quiet fart.
