"besides" the rape. JFC.

The consequences of the story (which had plenty of adult themes) were felt throughout the major parts of the DCU. It split the Justice League, and the consequences of such were felt well in to Infinite Crisis and beyond.

😂

I guess rape alone doesn't up the ante enough for alberto.

I think rape, then a weird romantic incest rape on top of it is pretty dark. Though I'm talking what's darker not what's better. I think identity crisis is a vastly better story be avengers #200 went a little darker with that.

2 rapes are darker than one especially when you get raped the second time by the your son who happens to be the reincarnation of the dude who raped you in the first place

To be fair, the view from the Watchtower is quite beautiful. Albert would probably even call it romantic.

I loved the part when Dr. Light burned Sue's wrists when he was holding her.

Yeah. WTH.

I've already been in a "how bad the rapes are" thread. I'm not even kidding. I'm not getting in to another rape-measuring contest.

And besides, there's more to Identity Crisis than the rape. There's what happened to Batman, and the consequences of that.

Hard to argue with logical #RapeScaling

Just imagine a story with three rapes!? *shivers*

Marvel has done the mind wipe thing to death. Professor X mind wiping Cyclops from watching his little brother and team get slaughtered by a living island was WORSE than what happened to Batman

You're comparing apples and oranges now. And, there's an argument to be made that they actually followed up with the Batman stuff far more than they did with Cyclops.

Plus, the whole, it happened to the villains more than once.

Yesterday, Marvel featured a snuff film of a teenage girl. For "likes" (because it's Mojoverse).

And were going to do livestreamsof her autopsy. Ads for this is playing during Shatterstar's forced imprisonment where he has to act like a YouTuber while murdering challengers; challengers who were abducted, killed, and their body used as compost to feed the Clone-Mother who eats her "children's" remains in order to produce more for Shatterstar's fighting pits.

Professor x mind wipe the existence of these kids from every who knew them. Dude was around here playing saint when he sent some kids off to die to save the other kids he didn't have a full clue were alive. Then he turned around and did it again. The illuminati did it to captain America because they wanted to blow up universes. Marvel has done just as much if not worse. That part isn't any more dark or shocking

Okay? I never said Marvel wasn't dark. I never said Marvel wasn't darker than DC either. This is a competition you made up in your head because you obviously hate DC so much you have to jump on every little thing, while trying to act like you come from a position of in-depth knowledge... When you so obviously don't.

And your constant shifting of the argument hasn't gone unnoticed either.

Alberto Bazie is hilarious, as always.

So what was the point of disagreeing with me when we both agree that Marvel's much darker?

You acted like DC isn't that dark at all.

And I never agreed that Marvel was "much darker". Don't put words in my mouth.

This isn't dark....it's not even edgy

You mentioned identity crisis, and then i gave several instances that was darker than that so no I don't think DC is that dark compared to Marvel. Marvel has TOO many examples like Avengers arena, a whole miniseries about mostly young/teen heroes in a snuff game show
And then Decimation where like 3 bus loads of kids were killed on the front lawn in a rocket launcher attack. Civil War was started by a villain blowing up a school yard full of kids.

No you didn't. They're ones that you thought were darker. That's not the same thing. If you think Marvel is darker, that's fine. In ways it is, with books like Punisher MAX and the like. But generally much darker? No, not by a long shot. DC has some ridiculously dark stories that measure up to almost anything Marvel had put out, whether in flatly stated occurrences or the implications of such.

and I'm still lol'ing at you trying to use the Carol Danvers story against Identity Crisis. JFC.

Also, Countdown Arena is a thing.

Civil War is a massive, massive outlier, way beyond even the Bastion attack in New X-Men, which is pretty bad.

Does Dark Multiverse encompass Dark Multiverse itself as part of cosmologies that Dark Multiverse encompasses?
I interpreted Tales of Dark Multiverse:Metal so.
