Lol, she was dying from cancer like 5 minutes ago.Btw, she's the new Valkyrie, in a new series written by Aaron starting in the summer.
So....now we know why they killed Brunhilda as a sacrifice in the first issue.....Jane's superpower apparently is being a goddamn copycat.
She's not a copycat. She's even better.
How could she POSSIBLY be better?
Think about it. Without Mjolnir, she was god damn garbage. How you can you be better than Thor, when everything you are, is from the hammer? Thor earned the hammer being who he is, it supplements him. Jane's a ****ing nurse. She shouldn't have any notion of what it is to be a warrior.
Jason Aaron: -inserts a cancer reference for the thousandth time- as if battling cancer and being a good warrior in the field were intertwined or something.
Now she's taking over Valkyrie's spot, a spot that depends EVEN MORE on being a warrior. Valkyrie is straight metal, her abilities are a testament to her hard work. Jane doesn't get to swoop on in and steal her position. **** Marvel, man. ****, ****, ****, **** Marvel.
Spoiler:
Don't mind me. I'm just mad about End Game.
Lol, I feel you Damb.
JA clearly killed off Valkyrie in #1 to have Jane take over. I really don't understand how undertaking chemo = brave warrior, but *inset strong female quote*.
I blame the media, and the current climate influencing everything, including writers. JA spends as much time on Twitter as he does writing Thor scripts, what do you expect? Here we have a strong, female character, liked by everyone with a great deal of history. Is this sufficient? No. She has too much depth and history. We need Jane.
I don't use social media, so I don't notice this shit but popular culture is signalling a trend, and people absorb it. My friend was happy
Spoiler:Then after EG, a dude in my gym tried telling me the difference between men and women aren't that large in strength. I laughed. There is a bigger gap between a 15-year old boy and an adult woman than there is a gap between an adult woman and a 12-year old girl. Told him to get back to his calf raises.
Captain America would now be Black. I was really confused as to what that had to do with anything and why he isn't annoyed that the WS, the clearly better choice, wasn't Captain America.
I just realized I'm no longer the target audience...for mass entertainment. I'm too critical, logical, uncaring about feelings, pragmatic and demand higher quality in my entertainment. So I ain't even mad.
Edit: But ya, the Endgame shit is just....that hurt. That really hurt. The only one who had worse is the Hulk, at least Thor...did something? I wish CM wasn't in the movie. Thor would have had her role, and Hulk would have had Thor's role. I can't believe we never got
Spoiler:
to see Thor and Hulk double-teaming Thanos on screen. I can't even deal. That shit would have been so epic, people would be talking about for ages. The EG hype will quickly fizzle out because mediocre entertainment breeds medicore hype.
Yeah dude, that's pretty insane
There was no sun and he had been deliberately weakened to the point he couldnt fly sealed off in a dark dimension by World Forger, It wasn't a gravity thing it was his powers being at their lowest. He couldn't fly anymore so he had to leap hard enough to reach the other place
That's a pretty crazy insane feat honestly

It was a pretty small planet, probably the size of Pluto. No atmosphere, core activity, life or any of the clearly discernable features of a planet. We just have the narrator, which isn't enough to count from what I've been repeatedly told./s
I mean Thor's never destroyed a planet while near powerless.
