So the link to Cy controlling Juggernaut means that he is weakened?
There’s a flashback from months ago where Cain inhales the dust and shards of the gem that was destroyed which allows him to speak to cyttorak
Cyttorak: does my avatar on earth return to me? Our link has been weakened, Cain Marko. But our bond remains forged in blood and pain
(They talk for a bit cyttorak asks him to be his avatar again and he says no)
Cain: I’m not your avatar anymore. I’m not linked to you anymore. The harness is made of bands of cyttorak thay existed on the early plane. Your ability to access the gem is gone. You’re cut from any links to a human host on earth

So basically, Cain is powered by the bands, which exist separately from Cyto?In short, he has a new power source?
Yes and no as Cyto himself said there is still a connection just weak. But the way there are trying to portray it even though the bands are from Cyto but Cyto has no influence on these earthly crimson bands that the blacksmith created.
In the issue it also showed Cain needed to breath which wasn’t always the case

Oof. That doesn't bode well for Marvel, considering he's meant to be one of the strongest beings on the planet.

I've read all bar the last 2-3 issues. In terms of world-building, story structure and general "writer intelligence", it's probably the best X-Men since Whedon was on the books 20 odd years ago.The characterisation is ****ing shockingly bad with some of the main characters though.
What do you think of the Shaw ownage that DS posted today...?
