Jiren was matching Mastered U.I. I truly doubt Goku and Vegeta merging would have made a difference against Jiren if they didnt go blue during the onset. Iirc, didnt Goku say that fusion wouldn't work against Jiren?
Broly in Ikari form was equal to SSB before Frieza killed Paragus. The simple SSJ form should boost Broly's power by 50x so I dont think a 20 times boost for Goku would have done much tbh....
Broly's SSJ stacks on Ikari form since he keeps the green aura...
Just going by simple logic SSJ is a 500 times multiplier for Broly's base which is above Goku's and Vegeta's SSJ form.
Vegeta felt the need to go God against normal Broly to overpower him since after taking 4 hits from him he was already more powerful then Vegeta....so going by logic Broly multiplied his power times 50x under a minute or less which just sounds retarded...

I definitely don’t think KK or Evolution would have changed much against Broly, but the fact is FP Jiren from episode 129 is in the same tier as FPSSJ Broly, given that his strength is similarly on the level of the Gods and possibly surpassing it, (though FP Broly gets the edge for being “probably” stronger than Beerus himself).
FPSSJ Broly could not dominate FP Jiren the way MUI did, and LB Jiren overpowers even MUI.
