That said, Estacado makes a fair point.
LB Jiren I still believe is stronger, but if Broly doesn't have a cap on his power, I don't think Jiren would be able to trounce him to the extent that Gogeta did to finally get him into hot water.
I still think Jiren was more impressive overall against the pair because they were in their max forms and still couldn't budge Jiren. Even if their max forms hadn't made a difference against Broly, we still needed to see it to compare.
So Broly probably would beat Jiren in an extended fight given how quickly his power increased.

We saw Broly reach his limit twice during that fight without some random, forced jump. Before he went Ikari he had reached his limit, And against SSJB in Ikari he had reached his limit without Frieza murdering Peragus. Who's to say that Broly didn't reach his limit in LSSJ in the fight against Gogeta, thus limiting him at that level, (which, imo, is below that of LB Jiren)?
And besides, I think the spirit of the thread is to refer to FPSSJ Broly at the level he reached, not what level he could reach.
Except for the fact Broly was still shown powering up after getting hit with the Soul Punisher and after that Gogeta had to further power up himself to finally wore down Broly.
When Stardust Breaker hit Gogeta stopped for a couple of seconds he possibly thought he beat him but right after we see Broly being unharmed and gathering more ki to attack....
I mean, we don't really know how much stronger Broly was getting at point, as the fight between him and Blue Gogeta never really changed. You can say that's a testament to Gogeta's insane power, but it nevertheless leaves Broly's growth as ambiguous. I would say it's better for the sake of the thread to argue them at the highest levels they've reached, as opposed to levels they could reach, as it's pretty much unknown.

I genuinely believe that FP Jiren from episode 129 is in the same tier as Beerus, as he's confirmed to be stronger than Belmod, (I think all GoD's are generally in the same tier), and Whis even posits that Jiren is in the same tier/state as the gods of destruction (Beerus and Quitela included) and "possibly" even surpassing it.
So if FP Jiren from episode 129 is even just somewhat close to Beerus, and FPSSJ Broly caps at being "probably stronger" than Beerus (keeping in mind that Goku may not have a full understanding of Beerus' full power, whereas Whis and the toei website do, and they claim Jiren is in that tier), then FP Jiren shouldn't be too far off from FPSSJ Broly.
I think the domination MUI unleashes on Jiren in episode 129 and the beginning of 130 puts him decently above FPSSJ Broly, and potentially somewhere in the range of SSJB Gogeta depending on whether you put FP Jiren slightly below, on par with, or above Beerus. Then LB Jiren overpowers MUI. Then MUI powers up and overpowers LB Jiren...
Ultimately though, I may or may not just give the benefit of the doubt to Gogeta, as he really may not have been trying.

Oh yeah, I have absolutely no problem with anyone who has Broly > Jiren. They are very close.
Broly tramples him, it literally took Gogeta in Blue Form to quell him which is like right below Whis level.
Broly is only going to get more and more powerful training with Goku, plus all the power he absorbed from his fight with the saijens on earth.
I won't be surprised if Whis takes him under his wing at some point.
Broly is truly one of the best characters to ever live.

Don't mean to correct you but Soul Punisher is just another name for the Stardust Breaker correct? Its not two different attacks, its the same one and only specific to Gogeta.

I agree with all of this.You are hardly ever wrong
1. We have no clue if it took Blue Gogeta”s full power to defeat Broly, the likely answer is “absolutely not”
2. We know that at the moment Broly is capped at being somewhere in the range of Beerus, though “probably” stronger
3. There is no evidence Blue Gogeta is “right below Whis level,” truth be told Whis would probably embarrass Gogeta
4. FP Jiren is in the same tier as and possibly surpassing the Gods of Destruction, Beerus/Quitela included, and LB Jiren can just about oneshot/completely annihilate FP Jiren.
