I didn't take a "side" and claimed this guy was factually innocent or factually guilty, I waited until the police did their job like a normal person.

I think a massive fine and community service would be more fitting as it looks like this was done for money. plus, it'll probably be a better deterrent than a small jail term.

Royalties + per show salary might not add all the way up to that figure.

He seems to come close to it. I looked it up, the first season had 12 episodes and the rest have had 18. So if it's 20k per ep, he made 360k per season after the first season.
And yes I also checked: he appears in every episode.
