Anyone notice how all the leftists here basically glossed over Lestov's transformation, called him unstable and borderline metal? But didnt actually have any substantial rebuttals?
No, I didn't notice that. eg I (ie the progressive leftist libtard) for one didn't insult him over his views, but welcomed them and unconfrontational challenged some of them.
What I did notice is that white Rightist only applaud and get along with Black people when they start with the 'Democrats are shit and White people are the real victims!" shtick. (eg SquallX) Did you notice that as well?

Well I mean sure, but when he's actually sincerely discussing his views and reasons for supporting healthcare, it'd be better to actually engage him on the topic than make pointless strawman arguments and go "YOU'RE JUST AN AMERICA HATING LEFTY LIKE THIS OTHER PERSON **** YOU."Everyone else can do whatever they want, but that just reminds me too much of the reason we on the right dislike political correctness, the assumption that because we're on the other side from them we can be smeared by the worst on our side. It'd be as if I'm making a right-wing argument and someone jumps in with "OH THE ALT-RIGHT EXISTS, THEREFORE YOU MUST BE A RACIST AND I DON'T HAVE TO ENGAGE WITH YOUR POINTS! JUST DISMISS YOU AND CASTIGATE YOU AS A REPREHENSIBLE PERSON."
Often times, conservatives who complain about "political correctness," only have a problem with certain kinds of political correctness. They do not want to be told not to say things that are insensitive at best, and bigoted at worst, but when someone rightly calls their comments insensitive or bigoted, it is a bridge-to-far. Case in point: Clinton calling racist Trump supporters "deplorables," who now wear it as a badge of honor. I find that the left-wing posters here that the right-wing posters here complain about, are just "telling it like it is," a value the right-wing posters purport to care about only when the truth is not hurtful to them.

The problem with people who carry "It's Okay to be White" signs, is that they think the rest of us cannot see through their giddy, coy games.
Aren’t you white? When you look in the mirror, do you hate yourself and what your ancestors accomplished?
You know you can be white and proud, and still be proud of your ancestors, and at the same time saying the evil shits they did in name of race to be evil right?
So from a Black man I’ll say this, be proud of your race, and accept some of them committed atrocities that can’t be forgiven, but learn from.
Also, this applies to all races, not just whites.

Notice he didn't answer if it's okay to say you're proud to be white? Yet it's okay to be proud to be black and yet no not all black people are the same. Not all are African Americans. Kamala Harris is black, but not African American(she's from Jamaica, or at least her family is). So the excuse they use of "well white is a vague term, it could mean italian or german, so say you're proud to be german specifically!'.
Saying "I'm proud to be White" isn't racist or wrong in of itself. But historically in America "White pride" has been used as a tool for racism and oppression, so it comes with baggage; this is just an unfortunate historic fact which closet racist like to gloss over.
Though on a personal level I find the "I'm proud to be *insert color/heritage*" to be silly. No one picked their birth, it happened without you having done a single thing for it.
If you want to be proud of something, be proud of something you had to put at least some effort to accomplish. eg your education, becoming a citizen of a different country, raising non-shitty children, earning your own wealth, athletic ability/physical prowess, being good/great at something etc.

Surtur why do you care so much? You care so much it affects you on a personal level. This is not healthy I do hope you realize.
If you've not noticed over the years(I do think you have), one of Surt's greatest concerns in life is that Black (and Brown) people are getting something he's not, or the perception of it.
Case in point here: Why he refuses to acknowledge the historical difference in the US between a Black person saying "Black pride" and a White person saying "White pride". The former was never about oppression, while the latter was often used in such a manner historically speaking.

I didn't use the term white pride. I asked if it's okay to say you're proud to be white. And the part of your post I quoted? Was really all that needed to be said.
