Granted, nothing much will come of this, maybe some low-level person's head will roll while the higher up criminals grease by. Which is all Trumpers care about, Trump not being caught or held accountable.

Agreed, one term presidents are seen as largely failed, because the mindset is that while they can win their first election on smoke and mirrors, people see just how shitty they truly are after four years on the job and say "no thank you, we don't want another four, good bye, loser." I wouldn't say he can't win again, it's certainly possible. I just don't think he will. Really depends on the economy and how people view it, that and how the investigation falls too.
It's tax season now though and more and more of the middle-class who were expecting a nice little refund or to break even, are ending up owing now, despite Trump's promise of "The Tax Reform is for you little people, I will lose money here. Believe me!" or similar claims. People remember with their wallets more than anything. So we'll see.
