I hear articulate, rational people like Andrew Yang speak about the nuances of complex issues and then I listen to your elected officials in Congress or Trump talk about the nuances of complex issues and the difference is staggering. The question I struggle with is how do we get people like Yang into Congress and other elected positions?
I hope Yang is POTUS in the next election.

IMO he was just about as good as it gets on issues and explaining his positions without platitudes.
I wish someone as thoughtful and articulate as Yang would be POTUS but I sincerely doubt it would ever happen while so many politicians on both sides suckle on corporate teets.

Get rid of the ability for the masses to vote. That's the only way you can stop all of the uniformed voters from being manipulated by social media, MSM, and political ads.
I wonder how much differently people would vote if they were required to pass a political science and current politics test? I should see if I can get a study like this funded. We'd come up with a 50 question quiz. I'd work with Dems, Independents, Republicans etc.

That's very unlikely at this point.
If Biden does win, I hope Yang joins his admin in a fairly high position, we'll be able to see what he can do and he'd be building his resume to run in the future. He's only 45, he could conceivably run in his 50's with a solid political and on-the-job experience platform under him.

I predicted this. I think the people got tired of the sedition and anti-Trump B.S.
Most normal people (read: un-hysterical, logical) think Trump is a douche-*sshole but see how clearly biased the media is against him. It's extremely transparent. And they also see how terribly destructive the Dems are.
Mueller Investigation: helped Trump.
I posted a long list of all the things the Dems tried to get Trump on. All failed. I wish I could find that list...it took a while...
