I'm more curious about how prominent leftists will react to this though.

I'm guessing it will involve lightly chiding Joe and then calling Trump a racist. I'm sure some will attempt some sort of mental gymnastics and try to explain why it's not racist too.

Anyways, the entire exchange was just crazy lol. I thought it was fake at first.

I would rather read the reactions to his comments from people of color, to view it from their perspective. I don't care what white men have to say about it 🙂

Probably, since he seems to be a black republican I'm sure a bunch of racist black people have called him an uncle tom, etc. in the past.

he's not simply a black republican, he's a conservative activist. make me believe that at least some blacks will sway from voting for biden.

I never claimed anything like this would happen though. I don't think there will be some mass exodus. I am just curious how democrats will react.
