Since it was their idea and what they want, I'm sure the democrats will go first and show everyone how it's done. I mean, they're being honest and not just telling the other side to fall in line and do what the democrats want, or suffer the consequences, right?

If they actually meant their words. those calling for things like that are exactly the type of people they should be calling out. I mean, if I claimed to want peace but people "on my side" were calling for reeducation camps or trying to cancel those with differing opinions. one of the first things I'd do would be telling them to knock it off.
