I secretly kind of want that to happen. Butt (lol), there are so few homophobes left that it won't be as satisfying when Trump wins again in 2020 and there are literal riots and hysterics in the streets.

I'm not expecting the DNC to have learned after 2016. Even if he does win I'm not expecting them to see him beat Trump in November.

It's still too early to call as there's still 14% of the vote remaining and there's only a 1.3% difference now, but Pete being the 'young idealist guy' winning Iowa is reminiscent of Obama in 2008, as that first victory cemented Obama as a viable candidate.

Though I think Obama was more of a surprise than Buttigieg in regards to Iowa?

Its not comparable in 07-08 no one from my generation ever expected a Black candidate who could use social media like he did. He was viewed as a first for civil rights and a novel candidate in a sea of generic Old white guys. Its not comparable to Bootygeeg at all and the numbers will show that when he tanks in subsequent polls and Trump steamrolls the myriad of DNC choices
