With all that said...if John Oliver's teleprompter is feeding him legit info good for him. I will be curious to see if Steven Crowder does a rebuttal. He's done that for some of Oliver's videos before.
Speaking of Crowder, he utterly destroyed Bernie's "Medicare for All" argument in a recent You Tube video of his.
Not sure what Star/fly and Surt are sucking each other off over, but [topic] Sanders has a 19 point lead in Nevada according to early polling, hopefully it's true and holds come the primary in a few days.

I watched it and I wouldn't say destroyed it because folks who talk and think about insurance act as though its the big bad boogie in the room controlling and dictating our health costs. The big news flash is that it is hospitals that are dictating prices.
With that said going to medicare for all would lower incomes for hospitals and providers, we'd probably see a dip in providers as their pay would probably be lowered to accommodate the lower payments from the govt. (ie longer wait times for more reasons due to demand and lack of providers at that point.)
One more thing as they discuss administrative costs, the reason administrative costs are so high for private insurance is due to the vast amount of plans available and the highest admin costs tend to be due to individual insurance policies.
It's a complicated topic and so far I'm hearing a lot of half-truths and hyperbole from all sides.

France has coinsurance copays as well and it still SUPER inexpensive. The reason being is that the govt determines the fair price value of services and it has to be displayed in advance, no sneaky backroom negotiations between hospitals and insurance to determine prices.
Sounds so very extremely similar to what Medicare is, now.

Even the French system is in trouble and having significant funding issues atm though.
Just like all the countries. All of them. The US has "funding issues" for literally everything - massive. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, infrastructure, our wars, etc. All of it.
France still pays much less per person, each year, than the US does: about half. So if France wanted to wisen up, they could just simply make shit more expensive and, bam, all problems solved.

Crowder and his talking point machine are right about 70*-80% of the time.
Since I did the math, myself, I don't have to lean on anyone else to get my talking points. 🙂
Crowder is wrong, here. Dead wrong.

I'm 80% sure he will probably respond to Oliver since it's about healthcare. The usual left leaning cultists here won't care what he has to say no matter what(some are still mad he knows more about guns than them), but non cultists like DDM, etc. will probably be interested.
It's true. I'll dissect what his team comes up with and judge its legitimacy.
Bernie is all like..."I could behave the way I have my entire life and continue to rail against guys like Bloomberg buuuuuuuuuut this orange man, he IS bad. So bad".

Sad, you guys are falling for CNN's attempt to smear Bernie. Gullible... and you think you're so immune to "fake news." 🙄Disingenuous.
Yeah smears are wrong.
