Captain Marvel vs Superman

What the **** are you talking about now H1?

The missiles were shown to be able to reach planetary surface in terms of seconds.

Carol moving against the missiles, means that, in terms of perspective, the missiles appear to be faster.

As Genii proved, if the missiles take 5s to reach planetary surface, that means that Carol's scene is all happening in less than those 5s of time. Because, the missiles had already been deployed when she reached them.

Yet, the actual scene isn't 5s. The scene is much larger, which means that Carol's reflexes are superhuman (her perception of time is much slower to the human counterpart).

velocity isn't constant; missiles can slow down when entering an atmosphere. And Although time between cut scenes are not always accurate, It doesn't matter how long it takes the missiles to reach the atmosphere, we clearly see the relative velocity of them in comparison to her when they are approaching each other.

Bottomline: She approached the missiles slowly (taking more than 5s to converge when both where shown side to side). And human with flight powers and strength and durability can do the same.

We use high feats and lower feats both.

We accept that Wonder Woman can deflect bullets, but we also dont ignore her not being able to defeat the likes of Steppenwolf, which is too big a thing to just brush aside.

Wrong! No one states low showings for characters they are arguing for. People mention ONLY the high ones (Thor's star feat, Hela's Mjolnir feat, Hulks leviathan feat, etc)

And you are pretty stupid as the person I originally replied to oclearly was using Thor's star feat as his durability for a forum fight. Yet you didn't address him or anyone else using only high end feats to equal a character's ability in a forum fight.

Futile, the missiles take 5s to reach the surface, constant velocity or not! Again, the missiles were already travelling when Carol spotted them, which means she had even less than 5s.

Furthermore, Carol managed to destroy the missiles at a high altitude, which means that the entire feat is within seconds (1-3s).

As I pointed previously, and Genii came to support. A movie doesn't need to portray slow motion to reference super reflexes

The scene is seen under Carol's perception, but still limited to a couple of seconds. Which means, that she views time much slower than we do.

You've lost this.

The scene was shown in real time.
A human can react in 0.2 seconds. 5+ seconds is BS reaction time. Superman can statue 0.2 seconds.

The actual clock time of the scene is more than 5s. And in that time, the missiles weren't even half way through the atmosphere.

Again, super-reflexes.

What are you talking about? We see her and the missile approach each other side by side in the same screen. It takes about 5s for her to close in on the missile. That's not a reflex feat.

.....The missiles take 5s from high orbit to the surface. We saw that at the beginning of the film.

The scene in where Marvel is pushing the missile takes way longer than that, which means that under her perception, time flows slower.

As simple as that.

The time the missiles get to the atmosphere is irrelevant. I already stated that missiles slow down significantly when they enter an atmosphere (partly because of drag forces). Plus she was grunting loudly in the missile scene (not a slow motion scene).

Also time between cut scenes isn't always accurate (although the time between cut scenes for the missiles to enter the atmosphere is more than 10s)

Who's talking about the time the missiles get to the atmosphere??

We are talking about the time taken from the missiles to be launched, to the moment they hit surface, which is 5s.

Again, slowmotion isn't the only parameter for superreflexes.

In this case, we see Carol's perception over time, but in real time, the scene is limited to a couple of seconds, since we know the amount of time taken for the missiles to hit surface.

Still Superman. With ease.

You didn't actually address anything I said other than missiles getting to the surface. The missiles took more than 10s to get to the atmosphere after the launch. They never made it to the surface. I'll repeat my other arguments that you didn't address.

WTH!!?

What part of the missiles taking 5s to reach from the battleship to the surface don't you get!?

Lol! They didn't get to the surface because Carol stop them before 5s!

Have you been paying attention?

You kept saying they reached the surface in 5s. This is a lie.
They took more than 10s to reach the atmosphere after they were launched.

After they were in the atmosphere, they took many seconds just to approach CM.

H1 is a dirty hoebag. He’s a filthy creep that masquerades as an intelligent woman.

Josh, why are you arguing with your sock?!

**** H1. Did you watch the movie? At the beginning of the film, the acusers bombard the alien planet in real time, the bombs took 5s to reach the planet's surface.

That means that Carol's scene is extended, which means that her perception of time is slower than us.

Maybe because he isn't my sock? Really Eon/Quan, it doesn't require much to realize that H1 and I are different.

Look, we get that you’re trying hard to throw off your scent, but this is reality, kid. H1 is your glaring sock. Same style of posting and flawed logic. It doesn’t take a genius to see the same level of trolling in both accounts.

Get a grip, burger boy.

You are the only one to say that. Again, stop it.

I wouldn't call you Quan if I were the only one. 😂
