"Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.

Well that says it all right there.

They don't "need" to do it. Maybe they want to do it. God knows why though. Kids are a$$holes.
Since the kids get nothing out of it they couldn't get from any other adult...I think it's increasingly obvious my theory about the parents wanting this so they can brag about their progressive kids school is correct.
This is their website, what a bunch of queers. Its shameful people let their kids around these weirdos.

Lol what I find interesting is the implication that it's only the glamorous gays that should be their role models.

So they can get the same thing from men in drag that they can from anyone else?
Great. No reason for them to not be allowed to do it then. 👍

By all means, prove me wrong by telling me the magic words that I can say to you that will make you question your own gender.
Please, point me in the direction where it is okay to go into details about sexuality and gender identity with 5 year olds. 🙂
Gotta lot of 5 year olds to talk about sex and cross dressing a lot, huh? Appointments lined up for weeks?

Speaking of straw men, what part of an entertainer reading age appropriate story books to children translates to adults giving children sexual instructions?
Speaking of strawman arguments, when did it become okay to expose children to concepts that grown adults thought about, discussed, and discovered about their sexualities. Probably 5-7 is too young to be talking about why Joe likes to put his privates in Bob's butt.
I guess you think it's okay to talk sex to children by putting it into a format that mirrors common children's books, right? 🙂

Honestly, coming from someone who enjoys crossdressing and has done drag shows, this type of behavior is unnecessary in a school environment.
I tend to agree. Seems like adult concepts for adult audiences. Seems weird to want to teach children this. But if the parents want it, let them take their children to these shows and readings.

This is the point right here, these leftist retards want to blur the lines with gay men and young children.
Soon I can see a P added to LGBTQ
Originally posted by Adam_PoEDo you think I am insecure about my status as a human rather than a dinosaur, or maybe do you think what people are worried about is that kids are highly impressionable and have very active imaginations.
Look at all the people in this thread who are insecure with their own gender. If an entertainer in a costume could convince you—at any age—that you are a different gender than with which you identify, then your gender identity was never that secure to begin with.
If you identify as a man, what could someone possibly say to you to convince you otherwise?
It's funny cause the LGBT advocates keep treating worries about disintegrating standards and norms as a slippery slope fallacy, yet the slippery slope is real and manifesting before us. 10-15 years ago when people were debating gay marriage (which I support) conservatives would come in with shit like next people will be bringing in drag Queens to lecture schoolchildren and we would've scoffed at that as a slippery slope. Now it's reality. The trans movement causes people to draw analogies like what if I choose to identify as a different race or species... And we still scoffed and consider that a crazy leap. Yet it's already happening. The path we are on is to overturn old norms piece by piece... And it shouldn't be so surprising that makes some people uncomfortable.
*looks around, see's a world where drag queens are reading books to children and grown ass adults are allowed to mutilate themselves and call themselves a different gender. See's a world where some children are emotionally abused and encouraged to choose a gender at a young age. See's a world where children are allowed to dress up as drag queens and perform at a strip club*
Lol remember during the battle for gay marriage when they said it would stop there, it wouldn't go beyond that?
Surtur remembers.

Since you brought it up to do a silly pearl-clutch, I’m still waiting for “gay marriage” to ruin both the sanctity of marriage and my own marriage, I was assured it would happen by people like you.
