Venom: Let there be Carnage

The end credits scene was the only good part of the film, imo.

Wow. That's... bad.

The film sucked. Even Woody Harrelson who often shines in his roles was just a big steaming pile of meh in this.

Still trying to figure what in the **** the Venom tornado was all about.

Is there a reason Andy Serkis would want to direct something like this? That's what baffles me, because he's an extremely talented actor.

It's like TASM 2 to TASM 1?

TASM 1 was decent, TASM 2 was a failed abortion thrown in our faces.

Exactly, yes.

Same case here, I suppose.

finally watched.. this really isn't that good of a film.. the cgi coulda been better. the story was silly.. 2/10

I know he's been having a go at directing lately, Sounds like he needs more experience

only other movie he's directed besides Venom 2 was Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.

Venom is one of my favorite Marvel characters but I wasnt really a fan of this movie.

The 1st was OK for me nothing special.

The pacing of this movie is pretty dumb everything happens way too fast.

Its not a horrible movie but outside of the Carnage action scenes there is not a single scene in it that stands out or is worth to rewatch for........which is kinda sad.

If someone liked the first you will probably like this one as well.

Same here, He deserves better movies then what we've currently have gotten.

The thing that bothers me is that Eddie is portrayed as a complete lame-o/dork which he never was in the comics....

This movie could have been much better if Venom was actually shown fighting bad guys doing hero stuff...but instead they decided to go with the whole bro drama just like in the 1st.

Venom doesnt have a single action scene here outside the fight with Carnage which is at the end of the movie....that scene where he grabs the thief just simply doesnt count for me...

I bet the Morbius movie (Yeah remember that movie that was suppose to come out) will be in the same vein as the Venom movies

but i hope not.

From what I hear, it's the opposite?

And V1 had the Stan Lee cameo.

Nah I loved the first. Liked this one.

Although was a bit lazy not explaining the “what” or “why” with Carnage.

As for Venom deserving better, hes got mass recognition at least after these films. Just a shame it couldnt have started out with Spidey.

But These films have brought him to life. Not the abomination we got in SM3.

^ The first movie could've had Spidey, Even the story it was based off had him in it.

It should have had him for sure.

But the deal they had with Marvel at the time meant they couldnt. Spidey was exclusively for the MCU at that time (except for animated films apparently).

I thought this was an improvement on the first one but not by much. The humour landed a little better. Woody Harrleson was better than Riz Ahmed. The plot still feels like a committee and thought up a bunch of random things they wanted in it then gave it to a writer with the instructions of "tie these random scenes together with something, anything"

Didn't think it was possible to waste the 2 best current British actors in Tom Hardy and Stephen Graham on something mediocre at best.

^ Bit harsh saying Tom Hardy was wasted. He clearly gave it his all with Eddie and Venom, which is the part people like most about the first and second.

It's not that his acting was bad. It's that the script was bad.
