Venom: Let there be Carnage

I watched the movie last night, it was largely a rushed hot mess and it will likely flop.

But the Venom symbiotic coming out as gay was not an aspect of the story, There was a joke scene, but it had nothing to do with the symbiote's sexuality, which if it has one, it's straight like Eddie is since it also kinda feels for his ex.

People are just kneejerk retarded with their "SJW are ruining everything!!!!" nonsense.

mmm Oh lordy, the riggtist loons won't like the truth. 🙂

I think it’s implied he’s some sort of flavor of LGBT but that’s just me. It could very well be humor as well

Well symbiotes are asexual, It's been show in the comics to be that and they even give birth to new symbiotes

Haha, from a pretty harsh review...

Hardy wrote the story, which means he should never be left alone with a sharp object that could possibly be used as a pen. He could do damage to himself, in the sense that he could take his character and turn him into a virtual bystander in a story involving two computer graphics fighting each other.

That's what I was worried about.

Sony just doesn't have the CGI it takes for a symbiote fight, as Venom vs. Riot showed us.

And PG-13 is not helping one bit.

Cletus was kinda off in the movie it seemed like he was being controlled by the symbiote.

Yeah unfortunately this movie is kind of a letdown.

Spoiler:
The movie really wants to have Venom vs Carnage but doesn't seem like it had a plan to get there which leads to a bunch of filler. Venom was at a rave for some reason leaving a trail of presumably dead incompatible hosts. Then there's Shriek having powers just because and not getting the Shriek symbiote. Also it did annoy me that the Carnage symbiote was in control of Kassidy as a separate entity rather than being integrated and refer to themselves as I.

End credit scene was neat though.

To be fair, even in the mainstream 616 comics, Cletus does comment that he's only a car and his symbiote is the driver.

Well here he does stuff that is against Cletus's will multiple times...

Anyways I like the final fight and the scenes with Carnage dont think there was anything wrong with the CGI.

Wasnt a big fan of the deep voice would have prefered a higher maniac tone but whatever..

Also it was weird how eating people powered up Carnage...

It was interesting how large he grew at the end compared to Venom.

1) spoiler tags or instant banhammer from my beloved pr,

2) wtf.

$90mill opening weekend. Biggest of the pandemic area.

So yeah this aint flopping.

I wonder how much is going to be from the movie and how much is from the MCU tie in

Because realistically, that is going to be helping this movie a LOT

Saw Venom tonight. Was good I thought, but I am speaking as someone that hasn't read a lot of Venom or Carnage. So it could be a ****ing nightmare for someone that likes those characters.

And the post-credits sequence is a doozy. People are gonna be talking about that for a while.
