Venom: Let there be Carnage

So more the script wasted on him then.

Anyway audiences seem to like these films, so I dont think he minds.

This was a decent movie to serve it's true purpose, "crossing the SONY/Venom property over into the MCU proper". And I enjoyed it from a comic/movie superhero fan point of view. But not that of a dedicated fan because of just how many missteps they made that were blatantly obvious and scream of ignorance or just more focus on casuals than source material.

1. Why does Carnage refer to himself as "We"? One of the best things about Carnage is that the symbiote and Cletus himself are both so batshit that they don't care where one stops and the other starts. He is Carnage.

2. Why is Shriek just a normal woman with random sonic powers? We don't even get a hint of her becoming a symbiote.

3. Why do we get a hint at Toxin but no Shriek at all? Why was Riot some sort of Commander-Class Klyntar and not Venom's kid?

4. Why is Venom in this universe some sort of runt or lower caste that makes him so "weak" and self-deprecating?

Etc, etc, etc...

I can enjoy it as a superhero action flick, but a lot of the choices make me go "What are you guys doing"?

Yeah another thing that bothered me how Venom refers to himself As a loser/ low class symbiote.

He never did that in the comics.

Also even Carnage originally was said to be much stronger.
Venom still has a 5-2 win record over him or something like that.

No cos that would mean it was a good script wasted on a bad actor.

But aye he looks like he has fun doing them and I'm sure the pay is more than he usually gets. Chances are he'll be the next Bond so who knows if he'll do more.

Maybe the MCU team will do a better job with him.

perfect length for a cgi battlements film. Funny script, Venom out acted Woodey and Tom who are both great actors. It was top notch! It was hot excellence. Brilliant plor and script. GREAT Easter egg for Spidey, now Knull for Venom 3.

dun is good but this was horrible

Dune is overrated....

From what I keep hearing, Venom 2 is basically a pure comedy with poor CGI, massively inferior to the original film.

The one thing getting constant praise is the post-credits scene, but that I can see for free while moving between theater halls, lol. Or on youtube.

The only good thing about Venom 2 is the Carnage scenes and the action.

Dune for me was pure boredom I admit I dont know anything about the lore but the hype over it is just laughable. Its not a bad movie at all but it was a 1 time watch for me.

Even my friend who is a huge fan of the books doesnt understand how people keep praising it.

But see, that's the problem, fanboys of the source material will always be butthurt over adaptations.

Even the big-budget, great crew and accurate ones.
