A large percentage of a society's male population being disenfranchised is it's death throes. It is RIPE for a charismatic, but malevolent individual, who promises a better life, to assert power.
I know it's 2019, but let's be clear, revolutions/wars and every other conflict in human history are started and ended by young (Unfortunately disposable) men motivated for a cause.
People worry about Trump but he's a complete idiot. It may be true that 80% of women chase the top 20% of men, but that doesn't mean that women only settle for the top 20% of men. Like, sure if every woman could **** Brad Pitt they would choose to do so, but 100% of men would also **** Amber Herd if they had that opportunity. The truth is that you can walk into any WAL-MART and see that both sexes will settle for even the most pathetic of individuals. There are a number of reasons for why incels exist, but women lusting after chad is not a valid one. There will always be the "ideal" mate that most people can't live up to. That's why it's an ideal.
In any case, the incel "crisis" is overblown. From an overall perspective humanity is in no danger of dying out- if anything we need to breed less not more. From a social harmony perspective the threat of incels is also overblown- incel violence has been focused on by the media as of late which leads us to believe that they're a ticking time-bomb of sour grapes induced violence, but statistically most man-on-woman violence is committed by men in relationships or who have been in relationships in the past. No one despises women more then the men who have to be around them. The majority of incels are going to spend their lives masturbating to anime titties and crying themselves to sleep without being a danger to anyone. There is no revolution on the horizon, just suicide and depression.
How do you fix it? You can't. The issues are more complicated then platitudes like "bro just like be confident and manly and play less video games haha xD"- that's useless boomer advice. The truth is that 90% of the problems with dating stem from socioeconomic shenanigans and heightened competition from booming populations and population density. As long as we live in a society where dating for love and using muh attraction for a metric is feasible, there's going to always be a subset of men who's personalities are too shitty to attract women, just like there's women who are just so grotesque that they will never get to ****. The riddle to solve isn't how we can get everybody laid, but rather how to make it more bearable to be single.
