That was my initial reaction, but his twink Twilight years are well behind him, maybe he's turned into a decent actor? Though I can't recall really seeing him in anything.
To give a Twilight example: Kristen Stewart is/was a god awful actress, but I she did a decent small role in "Still Alice" a few years ago, really surprised me.
I'm going to grudgingly hold judgment until I see a preview, as you never know. I didn't think Karl Urban could do Doctor McCoy; he turned out to be the best character/adaptation in the new Trek films.

Is that the Woody Allen movie? If not, she was quite good in that role.
My guess is they've all but given up on the combined universe attempts otherwise why continue to confuse mainstream audiences with movies with the same characters as the main DCU movies that aren't actually part of the DCU. You simply can't have a main combined narrative multi film arc running concurrently with seperate movies with the same characters.
