Oh the spinning will be good.

To make the Rightist conspiracy theorist like you flip out, probably. (seems like it worked)

Personally, I would have left it up and made you people froth over nothing that way.

So you don't have a valid answer.

If it's a nothing burger...why censor it?

How clever. Anyhow.

Have fun with your "we got them now!" angle, gotchas and all.

Okay so Rob won't answer, fine. CDTM seems to have an opinion on this.

CDTM: why did they censor the video, if it's no biggie?

Their bias is not really up for debate anymore.

Russia has nothing on the big tech companies when it comes to influencing public opinion. Google, Youtube, FB, Twitter are the masters of information and because of that are the most powerful influencers the world has ever seen to date.

After google censored the Project Veritas video they put it on Vimeo.

Lol...Vimeo has now removed it. What the hell is going on?

Remove their protections under article 230.

This is a very interesting video, it's less than 8 minutes long. Anyone interested in the topic of censorship, big tech, etc. should watch it:

Apparently they were calling for acts of violence. That's pretty obviously against the websites TOS so to say it's censorship against the right is rather disingenuous.

So the Right does want more government intervention instead of less and doesn't believe a business can do business with whomever they choose and/or deny service for any reason?

I like this guy's editing content.

I mostly agree with him. I am not on board with more regulation when the market has plenty of alternatives to google, youtube, and facebook.

The problem is they did more than just get rid of those who called for violence. So that is why he calls it censorship.

I want regulation as a last resort. Yet it seems the behavior of these companies isn't getting better it is getting worse.

And while the reasons might be different, both sides wanna break up big tech. It's inevitable and they don't seem to have any intention of changing their ways.

lol anyone who can't see Alphabet/Google for the monopoly they are must be out of touch with reality. They make more money than some EU countries for crying out loud lol.

Because the mods weren't doing their job. When the mods created the subreddit, they had certain rules the were supposed to enforce. They weren't doing so and therefore it was a massive burden on the admins. It's not the admins job to moderate each subreddit. Hence why it was quarantined. Seems fair to me. And the subreddit is still there for people to visit and discuss anyway.

Could have appointed new mods, etc.

Reddit is a joke. Join its non-censored, non-snowflake alternative, Voat.

The admins don't do that. Reddit is different from a typical forum with each subreddit as basically its own community. The mods are the ones who appoint more mods.
