Capitalism Vs Socialism

With the 2020 election just around the corner, and with us having actual Socialism in Congress, I want us to debate why anyone would/should choose one over the other.

Here’s a video of 3 of the richest Americans on Capitalism. They even brought China as an example of Capitalism working.

That’s very true, but I would say at least under Capitalism we have a chance to fight back.

Where as under socialism, the government already have their whole arm up our asses, and getting ready to insert the second one.

The fact that some people are even questioning which is better of the two systems shows how far we've fallen as a society and how much our "education system" has failed.

And yeah... Coke is the best soft drink, by far lol. Though I didn't always think so. Pepsi used to be my favorite back when I was a teenager and in my early twenties. My tastes have certainly matured a lot since then.

Yeah, they would have to completely ignore that America is trailing socialist countries in the World Prosperity Index.

I've often considered moving to another country, sometimes out of a desire to see the world, other times out of disgust with what is happening in the US. Language would be a huge barrier, and maybe I'm selling myself short here, but I don't have an advanced degree or highly-specialized and coveted business skills. It's not impossible to be successful in a foreign country, but I do not doubt for a second that it would be extremely difficult.

Capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than any other system in the entire history of the world. Socialism, otoh, sucks major a**. It leads to nothing but misery.

Capitalism makes the better economic model
Socialism makes the best societal model

That's why all the richest countries per capita with the highest standards of living all have capitalist economies coupled with fair tax systems and solid citizen protections.

The question is been asked because powerful Congress individuals, professors in ivy leagues schools, and some rich individuals are saying Socialism is the right path, when all of them make their money under a capitalistic environment.

I want to know in what point in time did those individuals switch.
