They're f**ked either way tbh. If Trump wins in 2020, they got four more years of a clown leading them and he only gets worse with his Twitter fits and nigh incoherent press ramblings as time goes on. More Trump just means it will take longer for them to shake the orange stink off when they try and rebrand.
If Trump loses (and he probably will), they traded four stale years for for 8-16 years of a Dems in the Oval. Think of how many Judges will be appointed, how many SC judges. Also possibly losing 36 electoral votes they previously had in the bag for almost 40 years.
They better pray Trump pays off and is a two-term president, at least they get some wins in exchange for smearing the Republican name.

Eh, people thought Texas would go for Hillary in 2016. It didnt. I wouldn't expect this to happen this election.Texas probably will go blue at some point in the future, but it's still a pretty red state.
Likely no, but then there's these stats:
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016 won 569,000 more votes than Barack Obama did in Texas in 2012; 568,000 of those votes came from the 20 largest counties in the state, Progress Texas found.
Trump won Texas’s electoral votes by a slimmer margin in 2016 than any Republican presidential nominee since Bob Dole in 1996, when Texan and Reform Party nominee Ross Perot was on the ballot. -snip

He was very likeable do not besmirch my pal.
I love Andrew Yang, I don't agree with all his policies but I like his vision and his website does a fantastic job laying out his policy ideas. If he won the nominee (that is a big stretch) I would vote for him in a second.
Re: Texas could go Blue in 2020 thanks to Trump and Trumpers :0
Our political and economic equivalent up here in Canada to Texas is Alberta. For decades Alberta was a blue, conservative voting province. Then one day it voted in the NDP, our far left leading party. I thought the sun was going to rise in the west next. 😛
So yeah, it could happen. Not a single Texas newspaper endorsed Trump as their candidate of choice in 2016, so the groundwork is set.
(Blue is for the conservatives up here, while red and orange is for the left leaning parties.)
