Anything canon to the movies should count as valid for the MVF.

Series, TV Shows, comics and extra material is created by movie franchises to fill in the holes that the movies can't cover.

Disney Star Wars has released several of these to further explain various events not covered by the movies.

I don't see why they shouldn't be valid to debate if they are valid for the movies.
