Here's an odd observation. When it was first announced Tenouch Huerta was playing Namor, I googled pictures of him. And I thought: "Hmmm...he has got the right shape of face, but he is a very swarthy looking Latino. So dark skinned, he makes me think of someone from Trinidad." I wasn't sure.
Now, looking at all the glimpses of him in the trailer, he looks much lighter skinned. Am I imagining things, or did they somehow lighten his entire skin tone all over his body?

Its fine to follow the comics, but this hasnt been set up (unlike Falcon as the new Cap), so its not sitting right with me.

even if the movie itself is complete garbage, it will still do tremendously well at the box office because it is also chadwick's final "sendoff".
but making shuri the new bp is a horrendous idea. her character has been shit in the mcu so far, and it will only get worse if she goes all sassy-emo in this (which i am expecting). pretty much any other wakandan female would have been a better choice for the role.
