Immortal Hulk vs Darkseid in physical match

Forum rules:

But, and this is the important part, you are SUPPLEMENTING them. You are NOT. REPLACING. Shit. What you would do with Spider-Man or any other character's powers is great and all, but it's what leads to powerset v powerset, and is for tourneys, NOT for the general board. This part of the point is incredibly important. You are still operating within the paramaters of what a character WOULD do, as opposed to what they CAN do.

Saying that Hulk would go WBH because it's Darkseid is silly, when he didn't do it for any other time unless he was supremely pissed off at being betrayed by his friends, and knew that his opponents could/would always come back up thanks to his wish.

Flash? He speedsteals enemies. Friends. The entire Earth, if needed. Avoiding getting hit with his speed? That's.... pretty in character, once we ignore PIS. Unless you brain trust guys wanna argue he WANTS to get hit??? LMAO.

Because in a vs match, THEIR CHARACTER AND CIS STILL APPLIES.

READ THE RULES, lmao.

Except for the fact that nothi g like harming the innocent hampers their performance. What are you saying exactly? The Hulk stands there holding back against a scum bag like Darkseid? When did he ever do this? From my recollection, he held little back when knowing innocent lives weren't at stake. It's like I said, your entire argument is to hamper his ability to kick ass.

He's held back and NEVER killed ANYONE before Immortal Hulk 8. Didn't you say Gladiator fought Galactus? If so, WBH would've been mighty handy, no?
In his 60 years of comic history, he's never fought mass murderers? Annihilus? Yet he's never killed. He's ALWAYS held back. Helll, Wendigo EATS people, lol.

That's like the ENTIRE point of the HotM storyline......

The Hulk always holds back on Earth for fear of hurting innocents. This has nothing to do with the monsters that he fights, but his battles spilling over into a community filled with puny people. This is another reason why he always wanted to be alone. In a forum match he'd have no one to worry about. This means that if needed he can take it up to whatever notch it takes to break his opponent. While Darkseid is an impressive specimen, he's never been portrayed as being an elite super heavyweight in terms of strength. Whatever level of strength HP Doomsday was at could easily be replicated by the Hulk.

During Hardcore Station Darkseid's strength was compared to that of Mongul's. Another extremely strong character, but still a leap away from Doomsday. Can the Hulk defeat Darkseid without going for the kill? Of course he can. This is a guy that has bridged the gap in strength with guys that were rated as being twice as strong as he is, and do so in seconds. Darkseid has a cap.

And he is also holding back because he doesn't kill his opponents....It's not just innocents.

Didnt know that Hulk really holds back.

It's his whole thing.

Banner part holds him back and "calculates" how to avoid casualties.

...

It's retarded, but Pak made it canon. Amadeus Cho and The Leader are capable of similar "Super-Math" shit, when Pak is writing them.

Oh my God I'm glad someone said it. 👆

Wasn't the impetus for why Hulk was launched into space by the Illuminati a recent rampage where like thirty people including some children died? And what, Pak just retconned that shit as soon as he could? Incredible Gay. 👇

More to the thread topic, didn't a conversation between Cho and Hulk in Incredible Hulk #110 confirm that the Hulk has, in fact, killed people? I'm not familiar with the incidents except for the Red King in Planet Hulk.

In self-defense or when he was separated from Banner or brainwashed, controlled, etc.

Always had an excuse.

So... in this particular thread... he could kill Darkseid in self-defense, if he felt that'd be necessary.

Yeah, except in Immortal Hulk #8, it was AGAIN retconned that in fact, he had NEVER (up until he ate that scientist) killed, period. Not self-defence, brainwashed, controlled, etc. NEVER.

He's fought intergalactic despots, cannibals, serial killers, cosmic tyrants - but never killed any of them.

Perhaps because he couldn't????

He would cave Darkseid head in.

Of course not. The same gas station would vaporise Surfer, Gladiator and Hulk.

Hulk already got koed by a gas station which was infinitely smaller than in DOS.

The thread specifies Immortal Hulk. That doesn't look like Immortal Hulk.

Thing actually fought Immortal Hulk. Superman isn't in this thread.

Closed for stupidity and off topic nonsense.
