In the United States, the states with the highest number of dry counties include Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas. Kansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee are the three states that are wholly dry by default.
Sounds like Saudi...
Although Tennessee confuses me as I love a Jack and Coke Bruv.

You will find a majority of the dry counties in the south yeah. Deep south usually.Booze isn't a fundamental right the same way the first and second amendments are though. And people can easily just drive to another country to get booze if they want.
Tennessee is not wholly dry either.
But then I drank in KSA so...

Deep red states, especially deep red southern states have a lot in common with the KSA...

You would cry "muh freedoms" and set up a still in the woods?
No point in setting up a still because I could drive to another county. With prohibition there was nowhere to go lol. The only legal way was to get a prescription(which a lot of people did).
If I was in a situation like prohibition I wouldn't set one up either I'd just buy from others who had set them up lol.
