Anyhow, since that question was directed at me: No, I don't think the right to drink booze is constitutionally protected. At least I'm not aware of a line in the Constitution or Bill of Rights (Amendments I-X) that explicitly notes this. Would be open to being convinced it does though.
I believe some people not from the US have a tough time understanding America's crazy fascination with guns and some of the utterly relaxed practices in some states, when many of these same gun-people would happily infringe on another's rights without a second thought (example below), but shout "Muh 2nd mend'ment!" if their rights were infringed upon, or even hinted at.
eg When the Trump admin proposed that Muslims be labelled and have to be part of a 'Muslim Registry'.
